The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It has a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is setup it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. And its mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a major issue if you want to own one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move on if it comes across one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, vacuum mop Combo robot and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum for stairs vacuum and mop combo and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum mop Combo robot that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can place the L10s in the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the house. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
