Slot missions are an excellent way to earn gear, weapons and other items. They're not easy to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that allows you to bring pistols in to the course of. Some players utilize this slot to help reach certain achievements particularly those who are going for Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to bridge the gap. It is important to remember that in order to select the pistols that belong in this slot, click on the button for the appropriate category, such as alternate slot 2 machine guns. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it easier to do. This combo also adds damage from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as it is placed in.

Slot for items being smuggled

The smuggled items slot is an amazing feature that lets players bring tools and weapons into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently designed to resemble the shape of a pistol, making it difficult to distinguish the weapon slot that is smuggled from other gear slots.

The smuggle slots are used to store a range of items ranging from concussion devices and explosives for weapons to more subtle concussions. These items are covertly stashed in inconspicuous places around the map and can be retrieved at any time. Smuggled items differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a feature available in short-term missions that allow players to gain access to different starting points, smuggled items and gear slots prior to their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This lets players plan the perfect mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will quickly fill up early in the game, which will result in the frequently-repeated message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message stops Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are removed or more space has been accumulated. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which offer more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenge missions. However, since many of these challenges are scattered across the world and can be overlooked, it may take some time to get the maximum number of inventory progressive jackpot slots in the game.

Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear top-rated slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit in your concealed weapon or gear slots and then retrieve it later.

These pickups can be very useful if your mission requires you to pass through a frisk or if you have a weapon with you that might otherwise raise suspicion. You are only able to hide only one item at a pick-up location.

This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To begin these missions just talk to the agency receptionist and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you have reached the mission marker be sure to identify a group when you arrive.
