who is hades to Zeus (lovewiki.faith)?

When Zeus orchestrated Persephone's abduction by Hades he hoped to reconnect with his brother. He also liked Zagreus, the spouse of his sister, and wanted them back together.

Hades is the king of the underworld and wears a helmet that makes him invisible. He is fierce, pitiless and not capricious as Zeus.

Persephone

Demeter was devastated when Hades abducted Persephone. She spent a lot of her time searching for Persephone that she neglected her duties in her role as goddess of the plant. This caused the plants to wither. When Zeus learned of the issue and demanded Hades release her. Hades was reluctant to let her go but was reminded of his oath to Helios. He was forced to honour the agreement. He let her go.

As the Queen of the Underworld, Persephone has the ability to bring spring to the mortal realm, as well as to bring life in Tartarus in which nothing is allowed to exist. She also has the ability to increase her height until she reaches titan-level height. This is typically seen when she is angry.

In Classical Greek art, Persephone is often depicted as a woman in a robe carrying a sheaf of grain. She is the embodiment of spring, and also the goddess of the vegetation, particularly grain crops. Her cycle of return to the surface and her stay in the Underworld every year are a symbol of the cycle of growth, harvest and death.

The Orphic hymns mention Melinoe, Zeus the twin brother of Zeus, was the son of Demeter Pluton. This could be an indication of the Orphics' belief that Hades was Pluton. As a god of solitary worship, Melinoe is not as popular as her sister. He is the goddess of fertility and love. He is usually portrayed as a bearded man wearing the helmet. He is sometimes seated or standing, holding an instrument. Like his brother Zeus, he is able to grant wishes. He can, however, not use his power, unlike Zeus.

Melinoe

Hades is the god of underworld. His name, which means "the unseen" is a translation of the Greek. He was the god of the infernal powers and the dead. He was a tough cold, ruthless, and cold god, but he was not cruel or evil. He supervised the trials and punishments of those condemned in the Underworld however he did not personally torture the condemned. He was assisted by the guard dog with three heads Cerberus. Hades, unlike the other Olympian Gods, rarely left his realm. He was only summoned to Earth when the god was cursed or sworn.

Hades is usually depicted as a mature male with a beard, holding a scepter and rod. He is typically sitting on a throne composed of ebony, or riding a black horse-drawn chariot. He holds a scepter or a two-pronged blade, or an oblation vase and usually a Cornucopia, a symbol of the vegetable and mineral riches found in the earth.

He is also the father of Hebe and Zeus. He is also the brother of Hestia, Hera, and Poseidon. His sacred animals are the peacock, heifer, and cuckoo. He is the ruler of the sky as well as the oceans and the underworld.

Ancient Greeks viewed the Underworld as an intricate realm, not just a place to torture the unfair. They did not make generalizations about it and instead focused on how the Underworld could be utilized by people. This contrasts with our current conception of hell as a flaming lake brimming with flames and brimstone. In the Underworld it is the souls that are dead that require cleansing, and then reintegrated into the world on Earth, not the gods, who are too busy fighting on their souls.

Plutus

Hades (/ heIdi Z /; Ancient Greek: He is the son of Cronus and Rhea and brother of Poseidon and Zeus. He is the son of Cronus and Rhea and is the brother of Zeus and Poseidon. The story is among the most well-known and important in Greek mythology, and it revolves around love and lust. Hades was looking for his wife, so he asked his father if he would allow him to marry Persephone. He was told that Persephone would not agree with his proposal, so he snatched her. This irritated Demeter so much that she caused a massive drought on earth until her daughter was rescued.

After he and his brothers Zeus and Poseidon defeated their father, the Titans they divided the universe between them, each receiving a part. Hades got the underworld while Zeus and Poseidon received the sky and the sea. This is the foundation for the idea that there are a number of distinct areas in the universe and that each has its own god or goddess. Hades is a god of death and underworld. He also feels lots of jealousy and anger because He feels betrayed and untrusted by his father.

Erinyes

The Chthonic Erinyes are powerful creatures in their own right, representing divine justice and vengeance. They are relentless in their pursuits and unforgiving in their judgments. They are the moral compass of the universe making sure that betrayals of the family and crimes of a criminal nature do not go unpunished.

The Erinyes also serve as guardians of the dead, guiding souls into Hades and punishing them for their actions in this realm of torment and challenge. In the ancient Greek mythology, souls left from their bodies following death, and were carried to the Styx river. Styx, where they were ferried across by Charon in exchange for a small coin (the low-value obol). Those who couldn't pay for their crossing ended on the shores Hades's domain, where Hermes would reunite their loved ones with them.

It is important to keep in mind that Hades wasn't the God of the Underworld by accident. He is just as much an expert in this spiritual realm as he is of the sky. He was so comfortable in his spiritual realm that he rarely left it and never even attended meetings at Mount Olympus, or to visit mortals.

His control of the Underworld granted him immense power and influence over Earth. He claimed to own all underground metals and gemstones, and was very protective of his deity rights. He could manipulate and extract mystical energies which could be used to shield himself and his children from danger or to fulfill his responsibilities. He also has the capability of absorbing the life force of those who touch him, whether skin to skin or by hand, and can monitor others with his eyes of an owl.

The Furies

The Greeks believed that when an Olympian died, their physical body was dead but their spirits were still part of their physical body until Hades drew them out of their bodies and redirected them to his realm.

Hades was loved by the Ancients as a kind god who was wise and compassionate. His insight allowed him to create the Underworld to provide a place for worthy souls to pass on to their next life while those who were not worthy souls were punished or challenged. In sculptures and art Hades was never depicted as a fierce god or as a villain. Instead He was a solemn character who ruled the dead with a sense justice and fairness.

He was also hard to bribe. This is a wonderful trait for a guardian to the dead, since grieving family members often pleaded with him to bring their beloved relatives back to the world of. He was known for his iron heart, and would cry "iron tears" when he felt compassion.

Like Zeus the god of jealousy interfered with the affairs of his father. He was also suffocated with anger and jealousy at the fact that Persephone quit him for half each year.
