There are also specific room mopping and cleaning options along with a planner for scheduling and a power strength choice for vacuuming and mopping. The extensive features set makes the S7 Max Ultra can do almost everything a traditional robot vacuum does but at less than half the price.

The S7 Max Ultra's vacuuming is impressive and it did a very excellent job of removing dirt, pet hair, and other debris on both carpet and hard flooring. Its automatic dustbin-emptying feature worked flawlessly during our tests, which was very and reassuring. It also boasts 5100 Pa HyperForce suction rating, which is significantly superior to the 2,500Pa suction power of the S6 MaxV and S7.

The S7 Max Ultra's mopping capability was good too, although not the most impressive we've seen. It used a microfiber mop which can absorb liquids, and sonic vibrating technology to scrub floors as high as 3,000 revolutions per minutes. This was slightly more efficient than the X1 Omni circular pads, which spin at 180 rotations per minute. The S7 Max Ultra's ReactiveAI 2.0 obstacle recognition system was excellent. During our testing it didn't snag on any objects, and it avoided power cords long curtains, power cords and other potential obstacles 100% of the time.

2. Narwal Freo

It's an activity that is hated by many, yet it is vital to keep your home tidy. It is also a messy and frequently smelly job, and can be difficult to complete since it involves cleaning up the dustbins and water and making sure that hair or debris doesn't block the traps or brushes. This is the first time for a robot vacuum and mop combo and is definitely a welcome option if you'd like to skip the hassle of using the app. You can also alter the route in the middle of the session by using the LCD screen controls.

The Narwal Freo is also quiet when it is in suction mode, with the noise level being just 63dB. The Freo's maintenance isn't completely hands-free however. You will need to clean the primary brush roll and the side brushes regularly.

It's also easy to use the app to designate zones for areas that should be cleaned or those you'd like to keep clear of and set up specific no-mop or no-sweep limits.

iRobot’s iAdapt technology 2.0 is a major element that makes Combo j7and smart. The front camera of the majority of the robots made by iRobot is used to prevent hazards such as pet waste and power cords. iAdapt 2.0 also allows the Combo j7+ robot to detect dirt levels and concentrate more on the areas.

The only downside I found was that the Combo j7+'s tiny water tank means that you need to refill it often, or else limit its mopping to smaller areas, and run it in eco-mode more frequently.

Another downside is that the Combo J7+'s dust container is small and you must empty it manually. The Combo j7+ mop pads are also less efficient than other brands. This is a pity, because this robot is otherwise a great machine.
