It can also move in a zigzag pattern or around objects. It can avoid certain items it believes can cause secondary contamination, or be dangerous. This is a wonderful feature for those with allergies.

It was able to handle long hair with minimal tangles, and it didn't lose suction. The brushes tend to clog up, particularly near the nozzles. Make sure you be sure to check them often. The app also alerted me when the brushroll was brimming with tangles which is a great reminder.

The Neato Botvac D7 Connected is one of the most powerful robot vacuums on the market, delivering outstanding performance on floors that are unfinished or carpets with high pile, as well as pet hair. It's easy to determine when the D7 is getting low on battery power as the indicator button glows green when it's fully charged and yellow when you're close to running out. The D7 has a bigger battery than the more recent D8 and can last for up to two hours in its maximum 'Turbo' mode.

The D7 is excellent in cleaning floors that aren't clean but it could get stuck on furniture legs or feet and can't easily go up and down stairs. In these situations, it'll send a message to the app to assist it.
