According to the report the report states that Miss Kelly suffered from multiple mental health problems, including borderline personality disorder, bulimia-nervosa, and anorexia nervosa. She was also abused by her husband and was a drug addict. Depression, anxiety, and stress made her suffer more. She was also diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder and schizoaffective disorders.

Elayaperumal claims that Medtronic deliberately did not treat him fairly due to his race and national origin. He claims that his poor performance review in June of 2000 and the refusal to grant him certain project assignments were motivated by racism.
