The best floor robot vacuum and mop Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the push of one button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is even better as its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and moves on.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the hidden bin and also cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something needs attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's some items that need to be cleared out frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can wish for. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best mop vacuum cleaner known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when away from home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. While these features are nice to have however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than some homeowners need.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4% of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
