The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button press. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or two detailed maps of your home to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even clean up pet hair without difficulty. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads clean your floors better than the vibrating pads.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece it gently bumps into it and moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something is in need of attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or robot floor washer in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, [Redirect Only] clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first go. It can vacuum up even wet spills. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great, but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving around the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel has an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
