The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into furniture and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum that mops and vacuums settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. And its mopping system is superior - its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the hidden bin and washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right like the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also features a new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are great however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
