Insert the new battery into the socket after the previous one has been removed. Make sure that the positive side of the battery is facing up and the clips are all seated. Then slide the cover back towards the key-ring loop section until it becomes loose and then slides off. Uncover the cover and reveal the hidden key blade. It can be used to unlock your car from the driver's seat if you have lost or damaged the key fob.
