A06L

Based on the popular A06 Freedom Chair, this heavy duty model has been designed to accommodate users of up to 25 stones/160kgs. The powerchair is equipped with two 300-watt motors which propel you at speeds of up to 4mph. It can travel that can reach 9 miles with a single battery.

When not in use it is light and compact. It is easy to transport and put away. It's perfect for those who travel via cruise ship, car or plane with their chairs as it easily fits into the cabin. It also has airline approved lithium-ion batteries as well as an adaptor cable for off-board charging.

The powerchair can be controlled with the joystick that is mounted on either armrest. It can be used either left- or right-handed. The foot plate flips up to allow for easy user transfer and [empty] the tyres have 12" all-terrain PU, so it is able to tackle more difficult terrain.

There's plenty of space to store personal belongings in the handy under-seat bag and the fixed zippered pockets on the back of the seat. For added user safety There are electronic brakes and an adjustable lap belt.

The Freedom A06L is a smaller and easy to maneuver than a mobility chair which is why it can fit into tight spaces like elevators or shopping centers. It can be able to climb gradients up to 8%. A kerb climber with an optional option is available to traverse a step or ramp without assistance. The chair also comes with a horn and cushions that can be removed from the back and seat for easy cleaning. It also has the Captain's Seat that swivels with adjustable arm rests. The A08L is a larger version of the handicapped electric wheelchair wheelchair A06. It features two main differences, namely the size of the rear wheels as well as the power of the motors driving them. This more powerful configuration allows the powerchair to support up to 25 stone (160kg). It also has a top speed of 6.5 km/h (4 mph). The tyres made of PU are larger, which makes this model better suited to rough terrains. The control system uses an electromagnetic brake to make it easy to stop and slow down.
