Saab Key Programming

Saab cars built since 1994 feature an immobilizer system that is based on a set of keys. The addition of a key requires a new transponder, as well as special programming. This is usually done by the dealer using a Tech2 diagnostic tool.

Transponder key

Jump-starting the battery

The majority of people have a set of jumper cables in their trunk in case of emergency, but jumping a battery in newer cars might not be the best choice. These cars have a variety of electronic devices and computers that communicate with each other. Start the vehicle that is working and allow it to run for around two minutes before connecting the cables to the non-working one.
