Industrial distillation is a crucial process in chemical engineering used to separate components in a mixture based on their boiling points. Distillation works on the principle that different components in a mixture will vaporize at different temperatures. The process involves heating the mixture to create vapor and then cooling it to condense the vapor back into liquid form.
