1. Eufy RoboVac ElevenS
The Eufy RoboVac 11S robotic vacuum is an excellent choice for those who are looking to save money. It comes with a number of great features that can help you get rid of pet hair. It is quiet, has a big dirt compartment and battery, and can auto clean for up to two minutes in spot cleaning mode. It also comes with BoostIQ, which automatically switches between a 'Standard Power" and the 'Maximum suction" for the best performance, based on the floor type.
It doesn't map rooms as Roomba however, it does have a resonant obstacle avoidance technology and drop-sensors to prevent it from crashing into objects (like the dogs or cats) or falling down the stairs. It also has the ability to pause and resume cleaning as it picks up debris and then moves it to the charging base. It also has an automatic self-emptying feature and a relatively small dustbin so that you don't need to see or touch what it's sucking up.
The 11S performed well when we tested it on untreated floors and carpets with medium cat hair. It did not perform as well on carpets with high piles and had a bit of trouble with heavier debris, such as kitty litter and cereal however, it was superior to the vast majority of other competitors. It also climbed over low lying obstructions like cords easily. It also kept pet hair out of the way on the wheels and brushes.
We observed that the 11S did not do as well with dog hair as other models, but the amount was still significantly less than in other tests. The 11S has some limitations too, such as not being able schedule and only having a limited range of voice commands. However, these are minor concerns.
We recommend you check out other robot vacuums that come with more advanced features. For instance, the iRobot Roomba 960 is better-built and is easier to maintain. It has a bigger dirt compartment and a faster charge time, and also has smart pathing and better performance on all surfaces than the eufy. The iRobot is also able to get rid of more pet hair and comes with a wider range of functions that can assist you with your home automation.
