1. Eufy RoboVac ElevenS
The Eufy RoboVac 11S is a low-cost robot vacuum that comes with a variety of great pet hair-busting features. It is quiet, has a big dirt compartment, battery and can auto clean for up to two minutes in spot cleaning mode. It also has BoostIQ that automatically switches between the two modes 'Standard Power' and "Maximum Suction' to provide the best robovac for Pet hair performance on each floor type.
It does not map rooms as Roomba does however, it does come with a reactivity obstacles avoidance and drop-sensors to prevent it from crashing into other objects (like cats or dogs) or sliding down the stairs. It can also stop and resume cleaning while it collects debris and moves it to the charging base. It also has an automatic self-emptying feature and a relatively small dustbin so that you don't need to see or touch what it's sucking up.
When we tested the 11S it was able to perform well on plain floors and a medium-sized carpet containing cat hair. It did not perform as well on high-pile carpet and was a bit shaky with thicker debris, like kitty litter and cereal but it was superior to the majority of competitors. It also was able to climb over low lying obstructions like cords with ease. It also avoided pet hair stuck on the wheels and brushes.
We observed that the 11S did not do well with hair from dogs as other models, but the amount was still significantly less than in other tests. The 11S also has a few limitations, like not being capable of being scheduled and a limited number of voice commands, but these aren't major issues.
While the 11S is a good choice however, we would suggest looking into other robot vacuums with higher-end features.
