The lawsuit claims that the VA discriminated against Black Veterans for a long time, refusing disability claims at an increased rate than white veterans. It was filed on behalf of Conley Monk, an Vietnam War veteran who tried to access medical benefits including housing assistance, education and benefits for the past 50 years.
