Slot missions can be a great method to obtain weapons, equipment and much more. They're hard to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot lets you to carry pistols on an operation. Some people make use of it to reach certain goals, especially those who want to achieve Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the extra pistol as a gap closer. It's important to note that in order to select the pistols in this slot you must click on the button for the appropriate category, for example, alternate slot 2 machine guns. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are active, which makes it easier to use. This combo also adds an attack tick from the concealed Weapon every 10 seconds as long as it is placed in.

Slot for items being smuggled

The smuggled item slot is a good feature for allowing players to bring in tools and weapons, however it could use a better option. It's currently designed as pistols, that makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other trusted slots in the gear.

The smuggle slot is able to hold an array of objects, ranging from simple concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items can be found in hidden locations around the map. They can also be found any time. Smuggled items differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a function available in episodic missions that lets players gain access to different starting points equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This allows players to prepare the best mission for every challenge.

Gear Casino Slot Tournaments

The gear slots will quickly fill up in the early stages of the game, resulting in the common message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message will prevent Max to pick new equipment until the old items are taken away or space has been accumulated. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which offer more inventory space in exchange for completing challenging missions. Since a lot of these challenges could be not completed and are scattered across the globe, it might take some time to obtain the most slots for inventory in the game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different types of gear. These must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In begins. Each gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same kind) only has one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store items that don't fit in your weapon or gear slot, and retrieve them later.

These pick-ups can be useful in situations where your job requires you to pass through a frisk, or if you have a weapon on you that might otherwise raise suspicion. However, you can only conceal one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.

This DLC also adds new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. To start these missions, simply talk to the receptionist of the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once you've reached the mission marker be sure to identify a group upon arrival.
