Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are an excellent way to earn gear weapons, equipment and other items. But they're also hard to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that allows you to bring pistols in to a mission. Some players utilize this slot to aid in achieving certain goals and targets, particularly those who want to go for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the additional pistol to make an additional gap. When you use this slot, it is important to remember that you will need to click the appropriate pistol category button, for instance the alternate slot 2 for machine guns, in order to select the category of your choice. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are active, which makes it simpler to use. This combo also gives you a damage tick from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as it is slotted.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled items slot is an excellent feature that allows players to bring weapons and tools, but it could benefit from a more streamlined option. It's currently shaped as pistols, which makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other slots in the gear.

The smuggle legitimate slots are used to store a wide assortment of items, from concussion devices and weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items are hidden in places around the map. They can also be retrieved at anytime. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a feature that is available in episodic missions that allows players to discover different starting locations, smuggled items and gear slots prior to their entry into the map. The options for planning increase as players advance through challenges and gain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players the ability to design the perfect mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will notice that their gear slots rapidly become full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are full" message, which blocks Max from selecting new equipment until old items are removed or space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this issue. They give players more inventory space to complete challenging missions. However, because the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and could be missed, it can take an extended time to obtain the most inventory slots available in-game.

The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to 5 different gear types, which must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same kind) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations allow you to store items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot and take them out later.

These pickups are particularly useful if you have to go through a frisk at the end of the course of your mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise cause suspicion. However, you can only conceal one item per game at an agency pickup location.

This DLC adds new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and armor. Then, walk to the mission marker and locate a mob at the time of arrival.
